Gadget is a slang used to define small technological tools or devices that have a single purpose or innumerable specific functions. MP3 players, PDAs, smartphones and other pocket tools are called gadgets. The common aspects between these devices – such as portability, data interchange, integration of a greater system- and its possible consequences – consumerism, independent production, collaboration and unpredictability – are some of the issues mentioned in I <3 MY GADGET.
