The exhibition Two Wheels and a Nation, presented across three floors at Farol Santander [Sao Paulo, Brazil], traces the history of motorcycles in Brazil and their connection to the country’s culture, labor, and everyday life. Through historic motorcycles, imagery, and audiovisual content, the exhibition builds a compelling narrative about the impact of two wheels on the formation of Brazilian identity. It brings together memory, technology, and contemporary language to create an immersive experience for visitors.

BlankTape produced two video installations for the exhibition, which has been experienced by over 70,000 visitors. One of the works is the short documentary The Champion, directed by Paulo Mendel, portraying the victory of the female rider Moara Sacilotti in a mixed category at Brazil’s largest rally. The second piece recreates a journey across the Americas undertaken by motorcyclist Fábio Carvalho, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) shortly after completing his motorcycle trip from Ushuaia to Alaska.
