CuteCircuit company of design and wearable technology has developed the HUG SHIRT, a tee with internal sensors that detect the heartbeat frequency, mass, warmth, and other stimuli and uses bluetooth technology to send data and create, at distance, the sensation of a hug and other feelings. In 2006, this piece has been prized as Best Invention.

Animal Estelar drawing was inspired by this technological clothing and also makes a parody with the mood options available at 2.0 network MySpace.
