When exhibited in a museum or gallery, the often unnoticed inner spaces of packages designed for ease of handling are transformed, by being blown up, into strange captivating landscapes, often taking up the space of a whole wall. | By upsetting the expected hierarchy of scales between these objects and the surfaces occupied by their images in this series, Lucia Koch momentarily disassociates the photographs from their immediate references, transforming them into something akin to views of invented places.
