“Fuga em dor maior” is a series of video-dance works – “Vira-e-Mexe”, “Patati-Patatá” and “Escápula” – composing a trilogy that deals with the artist’s conflict with the dance universe, specifically the classical dance technics.

“Vira-e-Mexe” works as a prologue of the trilogy and presents a psychological state that lies between insomnia and dream. In “Patati-Patatá”, the dream universe unfolds. It helps to seek the problem’s true meaning. At this point, Cynthia presents her main question: which body is actually dancing? “Escápula” concludes the trilogy.
